Check out 6'8 Tawaski King during his senior campaign at Dublin High School. King is one of the most powerful center and forward in the central Georgia. He helped lead Dublin to their 2nd State Championship in 4 years.

Irish Close Out Old Gym Era with 58 to 24 Win

The Dublin Fighting Irish escorted the old Dublin gym out in style as the won convincingly over Bleckley County 58 to 24.

Cedric O'neal scored 9 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assist, 3 steals and 1 charge while Willie Newkirk also added 9 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assist, 1 steal and 1 block. Odell Anderson chipped in 8 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist as Tawaski King added 7 points, 11 rebounds and 1 steal in the Irish victory.

This young Irish sqwad has finished the regular season at 19-5. That's not to shabby for a team led by 1 senior and 4 sophomores. This team will be a force in the next couple of years. The Irish will play in the Region 3-AA tournament next.



The Lady Irish got things stated as they beat the Lady Royals 48 to 45.

Irish Knock Off Toombs County 43 to 35

In a slow pace game the Irish held off the pesky Toombs County Bulldogs, 43 to 35.

Tawaski King led the Irish with 14 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assist and 4 steals. He was followed by Willie Newkirk with 11 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assist and 2 steals. Cedric O'Neal pitched in 9 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assits and 5 steals.


The Lady Irish beat the Lady Dogs 41 to 35 to win their first region game.

Taylor Devoe led the Lady Irish with 11 points and Breanna Smith scored 7 points.

Irish Split With East Laurens

The Dublin Fighting Irish split with East Laurens as the boys won their contest 75 to 43.

Ramahd Thomas led the Irish with 13 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assist and 2 steals. Willie Newkirk added 11 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assist and 2 steals. Tawaski King chipped in 8 points, 8 rebounds, 1 block and 2 steals with Derron Andrews adding 8 points, 5 rebounds 1 assist, 2 steals and 3 blocks followed by Cedric O'Neal with 7 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assist and 5 steals.
